Is it possible for me to subscribe for 1 month only, as a trial subscription?

We're afraid not. The shortest regular subscription period of THE NIKKEI WEEKLY is 6 months. However, for readers who would like to try the paper, we offer a 1 week (1 issue) sample copy, free-of-charge.
For the sample copy, please fill in the following form:

I expect to be transferred overseas during my subscription. What do I need to do?

Whether you live in Japan or overseas, you can continue your
subscription at a new location. To update the subscription address
please contact us with the subscriber's name, the new address and the
time of the change.

Can I temporarily suspend my subscription while I am away on vacation or business?

Yes. Issues published during the suspension can be saved for delivery upon your return,
or you may choose instead to have your subscription extended by the same number of issues.
Just let us know your preference when you contact us about the suspension.

You will receive an invoice by separate mail about two weeks after you place your order. You may pay by credit card or by money transfer from a bank or postal account.

firm (Nikkei Media Promotion Inc.) and vendors to the extent it
is necessary to fulfill your subscription order. All parties use
appropriate security measures to protect your information.
In addition to subscriptions, THE NIKKEI WEEKLY is available on a
single-copy basis (Yen 500 each) at booksellers and newsstands
throughout Japan.
