Q2 Is it possible for me to subscribe for 1 month only, as a trial subscription?
A2 We're afraid not. The shortest regular subscription period of THE NIKKEI WEEKLY is 6 months. However, for readers who would like to try the paper, we offer a 1 week (1 issue) sample copy, free-of-charge.
For the sample copy, please fill in the following form:

Q3 I expect to be transferred overseas during my subscription. What do I need to do?
A3 Whether you live in Japan or overseas, you can continue your subscription at a new location. To update the subscription address please email us with the subscriber's name, the new address and the time of the change.
Q4 Can I temporarily suspend my subscription while I am away on vacation or business?
A4 Yes. Issues published during the suspension can be saved for delivery upon your return, or you may choose instead to have your subscription extended by the same number of issues. Just let us know your preference when you contact us about the suspension.
Q5 When will THE NIKKEI WEEKLY arrive?
A5 It depends on whether you receive the newspaper by delivery or in the mail. See Delivery Information.
Q6 When will I be billed for my subscription? I'd also like to know my payment options.
A6 You will receive an invoice by separate mail about two weeks after you place your order. You may pay by credit card or by money transfer from a bank or postal account.
Q7 I'm a student. Can I get a student discount?
A7 At some universities we offer discounts through the student co-op. Please contact us by email.
Q8 How do I renew my subscription?
A8 Subscribers residing in Japan will receive a renewal notice approximately two months before their subscription expires.
